Christmas Day 25 December 2012 at Olonzac

2 minutes to Christmas Day..where's Santa
This year, for the first time for about 30 years we are not spending Christmas with either the Gleeson or Cameron Families. It seems strange to be away from home at this time but we are making the best of it.
Alex, Bec & Nathan have joined us in Olonzac. We have arranged a French Christmas Dinner. Margie and alex procured a tree and it is dressed out in some decorations.
We have gone easy on the presents this year (no money left after everyone got to France) but everyone gets some small thing and it seems just as good as ever.
Christmas Lunch is pleasant. We don't have to battle the heat as there is snow on the mountains to the north and the south but none in our village. Lunch is oysters, roast goose stuffed with a chicken stuffed with chestnuts and a French Christmas Log. All washed down with French Champagne and a drop of local red wine.
I think it is best if the pictures tell the story of the day.
